Our Work

What others say about us is more important than what we say.

“I needed some delicate surgery on my Pro-Ject turntable and Vintage Audio Repair and Restoration was recommended to me as THE place to go. Dan let me know what needed to be done, kept me informed on the status of the parts order and promptly repaired my turntable as soon as the parts arrived. He was fantastic to deal with and the quality of his work was perfect. I am now enjoying my Pro-Ject like it was brand new. Excellent, fast service and great communications! Could not be happier.”

“I’ve taken my vintage Pioneer SX-950 to two different techs in OC. I’m not going into detail because it makes me angry. They just take your money and don’t do the work properly. I’ve been looking for a honest and a knowledgeable tech for a while, and just happened to see Dan’s ad on Craig’s list and almost didn’t call him but I’m glad I did. Dan was straight up with me, got my SX-950 dialed in, the reception in the tuner section works perfectly, the distortion level is much lower and everything performs like it should. What a concept!”

“I couldn’t listen to my Harmon Kardon for years because of scratchiness and noises coming out of the speakers. After Vintage restored it, I have it on almost constantly. Wow, I forgot what I was missing – big sound back in my home plus fast and fantastic service. Thanks Vintage Audio Repair and Restoration.”

“The stereo equipment my dad purchased had not worked well in years. The equipment manufacturer informed me there were local distributors, but no local repair shops. If I wanted the equipment serviced I would have to disassemble it and drive it to a repair shop approximately two hours away. Since I do not see well or drive, that option was not realistic. Over a period of several years, I called many stereo repair shops, but nobody would come to house or service the equipment. When the equipment finally stopped working, I made a few more calls and connected with Dan at Vintage Audio. Dan came to the house, understood the problem, removed the faulty part, fixed the problem, and put the system together again. Even though he fixed the problem, he was not satisfied with the sound quality and realized there was another minor issue. Dan fixed the second issue as well. Now the system sounds much better than it has in more than a decade. If you have any issues that require repair of your audio equipment, Dan is the person to call. “
